I am passionate about the Internet and especially making the world a smaller place through Social Media. I am dedicated to helping businesses set up and manage systems that ensure a positively thriving online presence. Using Social Media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and tools like email auto-responders provide a foundation for both growing your business and keeping in touch with the needs of your existing customers online.

First, a Little About Me…

I have been a computer junkie ever since I first learned about them. I studied Computer Science at Michigan State University back in the 70′s, when we had to write programs using punched cards, run them through a card reader, and wait hours for a printout of our results. I became a teaching assistant for the newly established Basic programming language class and have thoroughly enjoyed learning about and teaching computer related topics ever since.

I bought my first computer, an IBM PS2, in the early 80′s. It had a 33 MB hard drive – I thought there was no way I would ever use the 66 MB hard drive option, and it ran DOS 3.0. It cost $4000. As soon as it became available I signed up for access to the Internet and I’ve been hooked ever since. Things have changed quite a bit since those text-based online games came out and I have been fascinated by the ever-growing technology.

Later, I became an IT consultant and enjoyed providing solutions for many companies ranging from technical instrumentation, to financial institutions, to health care.  My deepest passion, though, has been the Internet. Finding ways to use all that the Internet has to offer for building and growing business helps bring us all to a better place. The world becomes smaller as we connect with those we may have never been able to meet before. As vast as the Internet is – it helps bring us together for the greater good of us all.
