While researching all the different ways to market my business online I came to realize that it can be very difficult for one person to get the word out about their business alone. My mentors told me to start developing relationships with people on the social networks, and eventually I would befriend enough people that would be willing to help promote my business in exchange for promoting theirs.

So I settled in and began the long, slow process of beginning to meet people and develop some friendships online. I quickly became overwhelmed with all the contacts I was making. Trying to keep track of all the conversations, activities, and topics with all the different tools drove me crazy.

There had to be a better way!

So I asked for a better way, and a few days later I got an email – something about a syndication tribe where people help each other out by posting each other’s blog content. This turned out to be an organization that required a membership fee in order to be part of the network – so again – I asked for a better way – and suddenly I was led to about half a dozen free syndication tribes!

I began to investigate and was deeply impressed by what I saw with the Tribe Syndication Associate (TSA)

First of all, I was impressed by the organized system they had in place for making sure all the active participants were included. Dave and Dawn Cook update and maintain a weekly spreadsheet, so everyone knows who they are supposed to be syndicating that week.

Second of all, it’s free – did I mention that already? :)

Third, everyone who is actively involved comes from a true place of giving. We all understand the concept “Helping others get what they want ultimately helps you get what you want.” Any questions are answered rapidly, everyone is very helpful. We all want everyone in the group to succeed.

Fourth, results tracking is based on an honor system. Everyone tracks their syndications for the week and enters them on the spreadsheet themselves. I am proud to be associated with such an honest, giving bunch of folks.

I have been a member of this tribe for about 3 weeks now – so what are the results?

  • My comments have gone from 5 to 97 !
  • My traffic is up by 40%
  • I’ve learned VOLUMES from visiting blogs of people that are providing some of the very best content on the internet.
  • I’ve explored areas that I never would have been introduced to in any other way
  • I’ve taken a trip back in to the past that rekindled some great memories of summer camp – Thanks, Nelson :)
  • And most importantly, I’ve met some of the coolest, nicest, most fun people on the internet!

It is my sincere hope that we all succeed – and I can hardly wait to see each one of our businesses unfold and blossom into the true beauty that is all of us.
