Does Your Marketing Train Keep Switching Tracks?
There are many different ways to promote your business, and new methods are being invented all the time! This can be both exciting and overwhelming. It’s all too easy to get caught up in “the next best thing.”
Here’s what can happen – you decide you want to promote your business using Facebook – so you look in to how to go about doing that, and get started – then you start getting messages about all kinds of different methods for generating traffic for your business – and they all sound great!! So you decide to start one of them, and get really involved in getting it up and running. In the meantime, your Facebook account has been sitting ide.
Then you hear about another great way to promote that is supposed to be even better than the one you are using now, and your current method isn’t really producing results yet, so you abandon it and jump into the new method…and the cycle continues…
It can be far too easy to be lured from one method to the next. The truth is that many different methods do work. What you need to do is stick with one until you are really good at it! Then add a second one in. Once you have the second one down, add in the next one.
Trying to implement too many at once can leave you scattered and frustrated – the key is to focus on one at a time.
